Love of a Governess
Desiring the Governess
When Miss Althea Claywell overhears her uncle’s decision to marry her to his sixty-year-old friend, she runs away. Her escape lands her in a small village where she encounters Lord Preston Ambrose, Viscount Melcombe, who is also in need of a governess for his five nieces. Althea accepts the position with little reservation. Her uncle would never think to look for her at Ambrose Hall.
Preston had wanted Miss Claywell from the first moment he spied her in London, but only managed to secure two dances before he had to return home. When he stumbles across Miss Claywell in the village, he offers her the only position that she’s likely to accept. What he really wants is to have her in his bed.
Will desire rule, or will they manage to find love before Althea is found?
Tempted by a Governess
Miss Katrina Carrick had two goals. The first, was to sell the contents of her father’s bookshop to pay his debtors. The second, to secure another position as a governess.
Lord Timothy Strotham wanted nothing more than to purchase the contents of the Carrick’s Book Shop and Lending Library and be on his way. He did not count on getting the deceased owner’s daughter as part of the bargain.
When thrust together, will Lord Timothy be able to deny his own desires or will Katrina proved to be too much of a temptation? When it comes time for them to part, will either be able to let go?
Pursuing the Governess
Alec Winters, Earl of Harwich, wanted Miss Regina Rutledge for his wife, but there was one thing standing in his way—her betrothal to another man. Before he could sweep her off to Gretna Green, he lost her forever. It was then that he vowed never to love again. He’d marry only for duty and heirs.
