Ghosts, Witches, and Curses... Oh, My!

Welcome to my Historical Romance Authors Trick-or-Treat Hop Page!

I've been fascinated with ghosts, witches and all things paranormal since I was a kid. In 8th grade we had to research and write a historical paper and my choice was The Salem Witch Trials. However, I cannot watch a horror movie. I do enjoy the lighter, fun ghost/witch movies, like "The Ghost & Mrs. Muir", "Ghostbusters" (of course), "Hocus Pocus", but no "Poltergiest" please.

If you like GHOSTS or WITCHES in your historical romance novels, check out the ones below. (Each can be read as a stand alone). Also, each has been reduced to $0.99 through 10/31/26, so you can stock up on some ghostly/witchy reads.

Be sure to read to the end to find out which one one has a special place in my heart, why, AND a chance to read it for free.

Magic & Mystery Series

When Orion Drakos was told that not only was a mysterious lady in the grove, but that she lived there, he knew that he must investigate even though she was likely the imagination of a child. * Lady Nina Jourdain has lived in the Sacred Grove of Nightshade Manor for most of her life. For the most part she had been content. She also could not leave.

Lady Clara Westcott fell in love with Pierce Drakos, Viscount Harcourt, at the age of fifteen. That is also when everything went wrong- at least magically. When she encounters him again in London, Clara quickly realizes that she might very well be a danger to Harcourt and vows to keep her distance.

When Philip Cardwell, Viscount Chedworth saw Lady Antonia sneak off near midnight, he followed. He wasn’t certain what he’d find, but it wasn’t her sitting in the magical garden reading from a book. As he came from a family of witches, he knew better than to ask, so left her in peace. However, when strange things began happening to his body each midnight, she was the first person he confronted.

When Lady Samantha faces a danger that had been foretold, Cassian realizes that his fortune and destiny are tied to hers. But without magic of his own, will he be able to save her, or will she be lost to him forever as their fortunes converge and predictions come true.

Muses Series

Trapped between the span of life and death, Patrick fears he will vanish forever once he remembers the news of Laura's brother. Will they ever have a chance to be together, or is the opportunity for love lost to them forever?

Is it his fevered state that has caused him to see her in a different light, or has he always known that there was something between them? But now that he sees her clearly, will he lose her to a friend?

When a powerful entity is accidentally released inside the castle walls, all bets are off and Anna fears not only for herself, but for the handsome gentleman she sketched a year ago.

Her music first enchanted him, but her smile and kindness captured his heart. A masquerading duke and an accompanist is scandalous enough, but will Bianca’s secrets be too much to overcome?

Confession and FREE Book

I have a special affection for HER MUSE, LORD PATRICK. The book came about when my critique partners noticed that I often used PATRICK as the place holder name when I could not come up with a character name that I thought fit. After a time, I decided that Patrick must be the name of my muse and he was trying to have a character named after him - lol. And with that thought, I gave him his own book.
